Born as a school complex, at the initiative of the Marquise Eleonora Massel from Caresana, to honor the memory of his nephew Emanuele Bricherasio, creator and founder of FIAT in 1899 and died prematurely at the age of 35. Built in the early ‘900 includes four buildings architecturally harmonized with the surrounding landscape. The construction work lasted three years and the school opened its doors in the school year 1908-1909. The teaching methods were based on the pleasantness of the lessons and continuous attention and assistance from teachers to the needs of pupils. Fundamental was the teaching based on works of an agricultural nature in order to create a fully integrated school in the area and stop the exodus from the countryside resulting in the progressive industrial development in northern Italy. In 1971 the school became public, and remained open until 1983.
