It’s a small church in via Umberto I, almost at the end of the region. It was built by locals to honor the two saints Stefano and Defendente, protectors of the peasantry. It was renovated in the late 1600’s because it was almost in ruins and it took the current form. Above the altar there is a painting of Mother Mary and the two patron saints. In 1822 it was decorated externally with two paintings, one dedicated to Saint Defendente and the other perhaps to St. Agostino
