The church was built in the early century in the hamlet Masseria, strongly supported and built, both through transfer of labor and donations, made by the inhabitants of the hamlets Comuna, Masseria and Veneria.   To have a church in the vicinity of their homes such as the parish church, was a few kilometers away. It is a simple church; in the niche above the altar, it is the statue of the Madonna del Carmine.
